homemade push bar on 08 silverado

It is a great place to live, aside from the usual things people in small towns complain about. Plenty of stories going around.

First things I got on the truck were the grille guard and rock catchers. Funny thing is, Aaron hit a deer with my 1990 the that same night we were putting the bumper on the 2006.

It looks as if you wont be able to remove the covers for the lights because they are tight against that bar infront of them....

As far as wiring them goes, why not use a 4 pin connector used for trailer lights? all you need is a hot and a ground so you could use 2 prongs for hot and 2 for ground that way your not running to much juice through the wires....

If I were to wire to a trailer plug would my trailer plug in the back run them? If so then I could put the bumper in the rear trailer hitch if I needed killer backup lights or for camping or whatever, that would be awesome

They way I had thought of it was on the 4 pin connecter, to use the left 2 wires for + and right 2 wires for - using a switch and a relay to power them as if you were to hardwire them. (the trailer harness/plug would only be used for the ease of removal, just simply unplug them) If wired that way then no plugging the bumper up to the actual trailer harness at the rear of the truck would not light them because the + and - wouldnt be the same for both front and back plugs.

What kind of truck do you have? I have 2 off road lights at home and a trailer plug so I can try out what im thinking and if it works then I could just send you some pictures and a simple write up...
