Hey guys, I am new to this fourm. My name is Rob, and I recently bought a(Old Body Style) 99 Sierra Classic SLE in 2wd with the 5.7L and extended cab with 3rd door. I had a 98 Silverado Z71 before this, and I LOVED the way the truck looked and rode. It sat higher and Level. This truck sits lower, and lower in the front. I know its because of the 2wd and smaller tires and lighter duty suspenison, but this leads me to my question. How do I Get my truck to look like my Z71? I want to fit 31 or 32's on it. At leat 265/75/15 on there, and want it level. I like the stuffed tire look more then the open wheel well and high body look. What I mean is I like the way big tires look on say a ZR2 S-10. If that makes any sense. How high of a suspenison lift do I need? what comapny makes a decent product? What size shocks do I need? I am a mechanic by trade, but I am more into race cars and drag racing then off roading, so the 2wd truck will always see city streets and highway, so the lift I want is just for eye candy, but I want it to handle like stock OR much stiffer would be ALOT better. P.S since most 99's are the newer body style, should I just say I have a 98?

Like they said if it's torsion bars would have suggested new keys or cranking on yours and possibly a new rear block. Just look at vendors and see what leveling kits they have for you year and model. Pretty easy
