Are the TPMSs that are used in the 2011 1500 NHT factory 17x7.5" aluminum wheels the same as those that would be used in the 2011/12 1500 factory 18x8" aluminum wheels, or are those sensors wheel diameter/width specific with different P/Ns (in other words; interchangeable or not)? Thanks in advance for your information.

Should all be the same sensor if they are rubber stem ones (same part #). The rubber stem ones fit many vehicles within GM, with a few exceptions.

They should be. I bought new GM OEM takeoff 20" wheels back in 2008 for my wifes yukon denali xl, and even they work on my 2010 GMC Sierra. I bought the handheld tool that relearns the TPMS. So now I can rotate either of the OEM 20"s I've bought off ebay or the originals that came on my truck and still have the TPMS work.

And just for the record the 2nd set of OEM GM 20"s were from a 2009.
