GMT 900 Radio and climate buttons won't work

I have tried searching and can't seem to find anything on the topic. The radio and climate control buttons on my 2010 stick really bad and it seems to get worse when it's cold. They almost act like they are gummed up or something and sometimes it takes a minute or two for the the buttons to depress. Is there a way to clean out behind these without frying the electronics?

If it is under warranty i would take it to the dealer and make them deal with it. They may even just replace it for you if they cant get it fixed.
