I was going to just get another black truck until I seen this one

I'm hoping to have one of these by spring, I just have a few questions about the duramax, What kind of fuel mileage are you guys getting average? I'm leaning toward doing the dpf delete with the mini max and yes I know it voids the warrenty but I know it will help fuel mileage and power by alot.

I'm thinking about it but I really dont need it, but I def. like the look of the CC and they seem to sit alittle higher than the extended cabs.

You just dont think you need it. Get it and you wont regret it. I had one and went back to an X cab. Even though I dont carry people in the back, I sure miss my CC.

That's a looker! I agree with what was said above; 90% of the time I don't carry people, but I really like having all that room of a crew cab. I have a 2010 Duramax and, like everyone, mileage is dependent on speed. I get 22-23 at a steady 55 mph, about 19 at 65 mph, and about 17 at 72 mph.

The only reason I really dont want the crew cab is because im going to be plowing with the truck and the shorter the wheel base the better in my opinion. My dad is telling me to get a crew cab too, he had one a few years back and regrets going back to a ext cab.

Is your truck tuned or anything performance wise?

Its only about an 8" difference, but it makes a world of difference when loading people or stuff in the cab. My x-cab isnt aweful, but I do miss the extra room.

Sorry but why would you want to void warranty? They do just fine on fuel mileage. IMO just asking for trouble on these new trucks when it comes to deleting and tuning. Who wouldn't want 397hp and 765ft lbs out of the box??
