GMPP CAI vs K&N

Ok then. i was thinking of the look of it. and the enclosed filter. im sure you have been thru Bakersfield Jenna. my filter has to constantly be cleaned.

If you are worried about dirt buildup, there is a "sock" that you can put over the filter- folks were using it for offroad conditions. Otherwise, I think with a closed box, your filter will stay just as dirty FWIW.

I have the GMPP. I doubt there will be any performance gains to changing it but the GMPP CAI does look great.

Is the GM one a forever filter like the K&N

The GMPP air filter is not reusable. When it's dirty, you have to purchase a new one for the dealer for about $50.00.
