Auxilary battery cable modication

Hi,I took my 2500HD to the dealer today. They had sent me a orange postcard to have my battery cable to second battery changed or modified. The work order said they changed the fusible link to a cable with a fuse[ inline I believe] to the ubec. The dealer has been good to us,we have bought a few vehicles in the past. The modifcation had a number 10414,don't know if it is a gm or dealer number. I had the batteries replaced last year for a no start condition. Doug.

What year is you truck? IS it a diesel with dual batteries or a gasser with the TP2 dual battery option?

Opps. The truck is a 07 NNBS bought in 08. It is a 6.0 gasser with the plow prep. package. I haven't opened the hood to see what they changed. Doug.

OK,I went and looked,they cut thewire at the butt connector on the cable on drivers side battery,they piggybacked a connector onto positive cable at battery and installed an inline fuse holder,the wire goes into the driver's side fusebox on fender. I may have my son in law look at it,he is a mechanic,just not at GM. ......PS I found a tag on the wire they installed,it says made in mexico 22885531 Doug..
