Where to Find a White Bowtie???

somehow my stock bowtie that i painted white awhile back cracked from debris on the road, so i need to replace it. luckily it wasn't something more expensive like the grille, headlights, or windshield!

everywhere i look, i can only find polished, chrome, or black powder coated bow-ties. i would prefer to go the route of buying one that's already white this time. can anyone lead me in the right direction?

i've tried to contact AMI, who makes the bulk of the ones i find online, to see if they'll do a custom one, but i'm still waiting on their reply.

Maybe try a vinal overlay?? I have an original bowtie if you want to start fresh, give it to you for cost of shipping.

thanks, but i was hoping to get a metal one, so something like this won't happen again.

i got an email back from AMI, they suggested getting the polished one and paint it. they're on ebay for $30 shipped. i think this is what i'm going to do!

If I were you, I would order the GM one from Empire MotorSports. I have had many different brands so far and this ones seems to be the best by far. It's actually real as advertised. Most of the others just have some kind of film over them to appear polished and flake off.

I replaced mine 3 different, I have used AMI, "Street Scene", and "All Sales"...Those ones didn't even compare to the Empire one. Trust me, it's worth spending the extra money on the quality emblem because it will last a long time.

i already bought that one polished on fleabay, but if i don't like the quality and fitment, i'll send it back and get the one from Empire! thanks for the tip!
