regearing 2007 Silverado 6" lift kit 35" toyo mt

Hi everyone this is my first time posting here excuse my English cause is not the greatest anyway so I lifted my Chevy and added 35" tires and after all that was done my gas mileage when to crap and the transmission is having a hard time shifting so I contact 4wheelparts online to aid me on my situation, they suggested to change the gears to 4:10s they said that I will gain back some of my lost mpg and that the tranny should shift smooth again anyway now the real question? So anyone know a good link book or something alone does lines that I can use to learn how to do it myself I bought the the chilton book for my truck but it doesn't have anything about replacing or repairing axles so if someone knows something pleased let let me know thank you!

and i wouldn't tackle gears if you arent extremely mechanically inclined. It's a painstaking process to get it done right.

I am thinking it would be doubly difficult if the OP is not literate in english. Even a translated Chilton manual would not be of much help.

I receive the gears yesterday they are 4:56s what the store online recommended I'm not mechanicly inclined at all I just never mess with that stuff before!

I actually bough the chilton's manual for my vehicle and it doesn't have any topic about replacing or fixing the axle gears all it says is that because of all the special tools needed to work on a axle the job won't be cost effective to diy!

If I install a Detroit locker on my 96 Chevy Tahoe 2wd on 35 inch tires what gears would you recommend? I don't tow anything but it's a daily driver street and highway use.
