bilstein 5100

Hey there,

I've used the search function for this, but am having a hard time finding exact answers.

I have an RC 2" levelling kit on my truck right now. I also have the 2" rear blocks. I understand you can add the bilstein 5100 adjustable shock ontop of the RC levelling kit, on the second notch, without harming any components. If I can do this, I would like to install 3" blocks in the rear. Do I need to install new rear shocks for the added height? Will bilstein 5100 (normal, not adjustable) work in the rear for this situation?

The 5100s do not come adjustable for the rear. Just don't get the 4" lift version they are too long.stick with the standard 5100 and you'll be good thats my combo and works great

For the rear get the Bilstein 5100 Part Number: 24-186957. Per the Bilstein website they are for 0-1" of rear lift. I believe this is the one oldschool was refering to.

so they are good for 1" of rear lift, but if I put in the 3" blocks, that will give me closer to 2" of lift in the rear. How does that work out?
