I'm wanting to order some 3.73 gears for my 1500.

Help me out please.

Make it simple for me to order haha, just let me know what rear-end do i have and what front end?

Is it 8.25, 8.5, etc.

also, do i need to order near bearings, also, or should i be able to use all of my old stuff with it only having 7k miles on the original parts??

thanks!!

I am 99% sure you are correct. Was researching all that for myself a while back, and I knew it all then, but I deleted that file. :)

That kit would work. You won't need everything from the master bearing kits if you are not changing the differential (i.e. installing a locker). You only really need the pinion bearing (because it is pressed on and I don't think you should press a bearing off and on another component), crush ring and maybe a shim kit. Having the other stuff on hand won't hurt though. When I did my gear swap I bought from Randy's Ring and Pinion. Good website at the time to help you figure out what you need.

Awesome, thanks. Guess I'll be ordering in a couple weeks. Wheels and tires and amp steps broke the budget lol.
