tbi question

i have a 92 gmc x-cab with a 5.7 liter engine. i believe the tbi unit is on the verge of worn out. 200,000 mi. + . are the 305 and 350 engine tbi's interchangeable or if so would any body happen to know suitable sub part numbers and applicable model years . hoping to pick up a used low mile interchangeable replacement. thanks!

I think that they're the same, but I won't swear to it.

BTW, what's wrong with yours? If the injectors are the proble, they can be changed pretty easily. I don't know what they cost, but I'd guess $20-$30 each.

I do know that the TBI unit is a simple deal and should be easy to take apart and clean.

thanks friz, i notice the spray pattern on the injectors were not alike. it also stumbles and sometime chugs when peddle is just off idle. on some occasions same peddle location it runs just like a blown alcohol engine sounds= a fast on gas, off gas, big cam feel.??? i figured if i found a low mileage tbi it would have some sensors and injectors that were a little fresher.
