Linux anyone?

One of my future classes is in Unix. Im getting my degree in info security. I just finished my basic courses and start my core classes for my degree on the 18th

That's pretty cool I just finished my information systems security last semester, we don't really have much elso to offer in the way of security focus but I do like that area I think I'm looking to lean towards it, system admin, and networking and stay away from only programming if I can.

I chose that concentration because it encompasses system admin and a bunch of other things. We have large oil corporations based out here and IT guys are always needed

One of the cataloging systems I use at work uses that operating system, works well. The other is based on, of all things Windows 98 and it is just dreadful. Can't wait for that to get tubed and move on to something else.
