Center Console Assistanc Request

My 07 Sierra Classic has a bench seat and a 5 speed transmission. Can anyone recommend an add on center console that will not interfere with shifting. And that can be securely installed so that it doe not move if accidently bumped.

In lieu of this, does anyone know of a source for plans and a materials list to build one?

I had one that used the center sat belt to secure it. It had had a padded lid over the storage area, 2 drink holders, coin holders, and a small area for miscelanous stuff. I think I got it at Walmart for about $50.00 or so. This was around 1995 I think. I used in my 5 speed ext cab, my auto ext cab, back seat of other vehicles when child seats were not in the way. I think I just got rid of it this past year. This one held up really well. I don't know where to tell you to look for one now. Good luck.
