Wildcard playoff game blowouts...

The Jets whipping the Colts didn't surprise me a whole lot, but I expected Green Bay at home to make a better showing? ???

Ok-now we get to see if the Steelers can beat the Browns three times this season.  It's at Pittsburgh so they shouldn't have much trouble but for some reason I'm wondering if they can beat the same team 3 times in one year?   :fume:

We'll see....

There was some weird sh1t all through the wildcard games...  I'm guessing the only favorite to win was Pittsburgh, but they didn't cover the spread!!!  All the other games were complete upsets!!!

(I'm glad I wasn't a "bookie" this weekend)

The playoffs reflect the season. All I can say is 2 teams will go to the superbowl and 1 will win.  ???

You wish to go out on a limb and say who??

Call me crazy but I will say the Raiders and the Falcons . Raiders win 24 to 16

Steelers vs Browns. I was about to break my tv after the first half of the game. In the fourth quarter my house was 'rockin.

This game is about as big as the Super Bowl here in Erie PA.,

approx 100 miles from Steelers and Browns country. The Browns vs Steelers controversy is very big around here.

Go STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :fume:    :thumb:

I was lucky enough to get tickets to the Steelers game this past Sunday.  First off, I woke up this morning and have no voice....lost it screaming at the game.  I agree, if I was watching it on TV, I would have thrown it.  You would not believe the number of people that left during the end of the 3rd...I just wanted to smack all of them....no faith.

All I gotta say is that the Steelers better get their arse together if they want to go anywhere in the playoff's.

Oh BTW, the Jets are gonna beat Oakland...  :fume:

You got that right. The secondary defense played awful.

If they want to go any farther, they better learn to stop the passing game!! :fume:

GO STEELERS!!!!!!!! :thumb:

Pittsburgh wasn't the only favorite to win.  San Francisco was favored too.

And Cleveland lost that game more than Pittsburgh won it, same with the Giants.  If Cleveland could catch an interception OR not commit so many penatlies they could've stopped them.  And piss poor play calling to run time off the clock screwed them.  They deserved to lose after falling apart like that.  They're lucky they didn't win, because with a pass defense like that Oakland would have tore them apart next week.

BTW Oakland will NOT lose to the Jets.  OF course I'm sure you hope they do, so IF the Steelers can get past Tennessee they don't get embarrassed by the Raiders.    :uhoh:

    • I understand that. The price is what it is, though. The price is what oil costs today, where our choices have led us, where supply is, and where demand is, in the market that is. Speculation is for futures, what we think the price will be, but with incomplete information at the time the price is forecast. I know you know this, but you appear to be intent on making a secondary point here about what you think the market could or should be, if only other choices.   In 1975 it became illegal to export US Crude. I'm conflicted on what the best answer is. Free markets allow export in pursuit of profit. But there is also a lot to gain by producing and consuming our own oil here. How do you reconcile it?
    • That sir is a choice. And even if it were not for all the reasons stated, this disruption has zero to do with the reality of the actual logistics and everything to do with the greed of SPECULATION. Spot price is irrelevant to reality.
    • What I think you're saying is there is supply here at home, and in Venezuela, and we could ease pricing if only it were favorable to do so.   Well, yes?   But that's not the current market. Supply isn't what could someday exist, if only, it's what producers are willing to produce and sell at a certain price point.   The national price of single family homes would come way down if we'd just slap together a few million homes this summer.   RAM and GPUs would get a lot cheaper if we just set up some factories to produce a bunch more and stopped using it to build out AI data centers.
