2003 yukon xl rear air conditioning problem

I need some help. I have a 2003 yukon xl 5.3 l. The problem is that the front A/C works great, but the rear A/C is only luke warm or very minimally cool (obviously not A/C cool). I have tried adjusting the different control settings but no luck.....Any suggestions? Thanks for your time! Dan

I had this issue on my 05 2 yrs ago. I wound up replacing the temp actuator on the rear hvac. It's located on the right rear quarter panel. It's the temp actuator that flips the door on the a/c duct from hot to cold. That's my hunch based on my experience.

Hi. Just make sure the ignition power is off. The temp actuator is a dealer item.
