Nerf Bars and visor sticker?

Recommended Posts

Well I traded my 2002 w/ 38,000 mi for a new 2003.  I must say I couldn't resist with 3k back, low interest and 24,000 for the trade.  They made alot of improvements and fixed alot of nick picky problems...anyhow.  I want some wheel to wheel nerf bars.  I've seen some on ebay, Tigers to be specific.  I haven't heard of them and was wondering if anyone knows about them or has recommendations for wheel to wheels?  Also, has anyone figuired out how to get the aibag sticker off the visor????  Thanks!

N-Fab makes some great looking wheel to wheel nerf bars.  They have a web site and you can buy them at 4 wheel parts.  I think they are around 450, but look great.

Sorry, I can't help with the nerf bars....But I understand that with a great deal of finesse and a little elbow grease, that decal will come off with a 22lb sledge.

Just make sure you don't set off the airbag. I hear they can be dangerous.

I couldn't resist.

If it's a Chevy, you might be able to cover up that air bag warning with the Chevy Logo sticker available at Streamline Design.  They are designed for the Avalanche, but one of them is just a bowtie.

If it's a GMC, or if that one is the wrong size, you might try one of the decal sites on the web and get custom ones made.

I was just reading on another web forum that you can remove your visor stickers by heating them with a hair dryer and peeling carefully.
