hi reaching out to the chevy world...i have 01 silverado 1500 4x4 problem is can't get front wheel bearing out.it actually split in two as the rotor was also stuck,i removed it by using 1/2 inch nut and bolt and pressing it out but it left me with the remainder of the bearing and the mounting flange , wheel studs and hub surface still stuck to rotor! not much to work with if anybody has ideas please help and i will try to return favor in future.truck has 150000 miles with many winters of salt abuse but still runs and looks good thanks

not an insult any suggestions will help... my rotors were slip ons no retaining bolts i have seen them on other vehicles not this one basically i am down to the bearing hub surface was wondering if i drilled and taped the flange surface and used 1/2 bolts threaded in to act as a puller might work? anyone run into this before or do this thanks

just letting anyone else knoe that runs into same problem as i... i finally got hub out by using cut off wheel, cut several notches near bolt mounting holes and beat the #$#$# out of it with a chisel . never heard of hub assembly breaking in two like mine did....thanks to new york winters and plow guys who i think get paid by the # of pounds of salt that they through down on wet roads sometimes the salt is more slick than snow .... hope this helps someone ...
