I'm at 9000 miles and will be needing to come back for my second alignment on my 2012 sierra crew can 1500. Just wondering if you all have had alignment issues? I'm not lifted or leveled yet, and frankly afraid to do so. I have a feeling this will be my last freebie alignment coming up. The thing is the truck is not beat on, it maybe had 5 miles of gravel since the last alignment. I was looking spc locking alignment cam plates (have holes to keep it locked in instead of just friction) and moog control arms and tie rod ends. Is moog good enough? Have you guys with level and lift kits had problems? I also was looking at stepping up to fabtec or other more expensive uca's and the cst steering rod kit . I'm thinking if this factory stuff can't hold a candle then how much better could factory replacement be? Or is it worth it to go all out offroad? I'm planning on keeping the truck Long term and do lots of logging roads and hauling, 2-4 inch level or lift is in the future as well. Or should I just trade up to a 2500? I'm just really worried with this front end stuff.

It was the dealership, I would have to think they did it well, the printout was bang on. It's just slightly starting to pull, also noticed a weep of fluid out the rack, maybe I just got a lemon front end.

With your miles I wouldn't worry about it for a while. My truck has 95k miles and sees rougher, rockier roads than 99% of these trucks, and I haven't had any issues. But when it comes time to upgrade, you're right in finding the best replacement parts you can.

It would seem to me that there is an issue somewhere, and while the aftermarket parts amy solve the issue, if they don't then they've voided the warranty.

Puts some confidence in me about the stock stuff, I'm going in again on Friday to get it checked out, just find it wierd how it held up good then went bad, when it went out the first time it was all of a sudden. The gravel and dirt roads were all done in the summer before these issues.
