Need Advice on Mags

I found some chrome mags at Sears SSC pretty reasonable in price. Is anyone running them or know anything about them? I mean for $130 vs $300+....does the chrome stay on? Lol!

You get what you pay for... They're probably made in China of poor materials.

The only cheap wheels worth anything are steel wheels. Any "good looking" cheap wheel won't stay nice long.

Sorry for the brief response earlier, long posts on the phone are a pain.

 

 

With a wheel that inexpensive I'd not only be worried about finish and wheel integrity/strength but if it were machined properly. New wheels with runout issues would be a bummer. Wheels are on my list eventually and the ones I want are $340 each which is a lot of money, but I'll get there at some point. Or get bored with this truck and get a new one if the new GMs look nice.

They might look good for about a year, but the cheap ones don't seem to hold up much longer than that. Guess you could always get them stripped and powder coated for a different look, once they started going to crap.
