Question for anyone who has adjusted their torsion bars!!!

What kindve of height did you get from raising them?

before- 35 1/2 inches

after  - 37 inches

This measurement was taken from the ground to the bottom of the fender opening above the wheel.

Thanks

has anyone raised the torsion bars on a 2wd?  I have a 2wd Yukon.  Could I raise the torsion bars in front about 1.5 to 2 inches to get the front to look more "leveled-out" with the rear?

For those with 2wd (especially the suvs), how high is yours from ground to wheel well on the front before and (if you've raised it) after?

I got 3/4" when I raised mine. My adjusting bolt on the drivers side didn't have much thread to begin with.

You should be happy getting that much. :flag:

Actually all 'hoes and 'burbans and Denalis have t-bar suspension 2 or 4wd except for the 2500 series 2wd 'burban/Denali XL.  Only 2wd Silverado/Sierra 1/2 ton p/u have coils.

is yours a z71 or reg 4x4?

Mine was something like 39 or 39 1/2" from ground to bottom of fender flare for the front and for the rear it was 40 or 41

I do have 285 tires too
