My truck is coming up on 25k. Wondering if it would be ok to do a seafoam treatment. Since iv had the truck iv changed the oil 3 times. First at 10k then for some reason i changed it again at 15k. 25 will be my next change. Iv used synthetic every time. The tune from BB iv been running 89oct fuel.

Keeping clean oil, clean air filter and running some good fuel injector cleaner should keep her clean inside. I agree with the post above, I'd wait until you get around 100,000 before doing seafoam.

Like said above, with regular maintenance, you wont need it till at least 100K, if even then. I did mine at 100K because I bought it used with 87K on it, and didnt know how well it had been maintained by the prior owner. As long as you are the first owner, I wouldnt worry about doing one at all before 150 - 200K, but thats just my $0.02.

I run STP Fuel System Cleaner through it at every oil change, and she runs like a top.

I have used seafoam on many vehicles with good results, And im also a huge fan of preventative maintenance but

at 25,000 your going to be waisting your time and money!

i thought i had read a long time ago, not to add any cleaners or it voids your warranty????? couldn't understand why they would frown on that.

It says in the manual to use "top tier fuel". If you had engine issues they would have to PROVE it was the cleaner and obviously you would not tell them if by chance you had a catastrophe after using the cleaner right?
