LED Light Conversion Need Different Flasher?

My 2006 Silverado has OEM tail lights. Inquiring that if you install LED lights that i would need to install a different flasher for the tail lights to work properly. Was told this today so i am asking the group.

 

Is this correct for those that have converted to LED lights. If so what else is needed if i convert to LED all around?

I have led parking and tail lights but I went with new assemblies from Anzo up front and recon in the back. All plug and play

I tried installing some LED bulbs I had laying around in Project Sierra a few months ago. They looked great but the turn signals flashed 2x as fast as they should. I never had the time to figure out how to make them work, so I'm interested in this as well.

Zane there is a guy on Silveradoss.com that has complete plug and play HID and LED bulbs
