Bad crackling/popping noise from Advent OGM1

I've owned the OGM 1 now for some time but lately I've been hearing a crackling/popping noise every now and again while driving. The speakers are fine, this does not sound like a roasted driver whatsoever. In trying to explain the sound I found a video on youtube and a guy showing a problem with a receiver he has. This sound matches the type of sound I'm hearing to the T. Which leads me to wonder, is the OGM1 the culprit? Take a listen to the video below. If it happens while the volume is up it will scare the living s*it out of you.

I have Focal components up front, Memphis Coaxials for rear fill and a Rockford T800. Any ideas?

I would try cleaning ALL of the connections first. I have seen poor/dirty RCA plug connections cause that type of sound. Also double check the ground and power connections for the amp.

Both power and ground were just redone and the sound is still there. The RCA's were brand new, and I'd sure hate to buy another set and run them just to check. I should mention the sound does not increase with RPM and it does it almost randomly now. The car could be stopped and it does it so I've ruled out a loose wire bouncing around. I'm afraid this horrible sound is going to destroy my system, if it hasn't already started.

Although this might seem like a pain in the ass, a real quick test that you could do would be to hook up a single speaker connected to one of the standard speaker outputs on the OGM1 and see if you get exactly the same sound from the speaker you added as you hear from the speakers in the truck.

If you get exactly the same response from the single speaker as you get from the speakers in the truck, then the issue would be internal to the OGM1. If you do not hear the same noise, then I would take a look at your RCA's or your amplifier.
