Regular cab with Denali Trim?

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi everyone, I'm just posting this to start a project which is regular cab sierra.

The question is i'm going to install heated/cooled bucket seats inside along with center floor console also PWR folded mirrors with signals.

Vehicle Model for regular cab is known as SLE trim for the fully loaded one. So door handles are under armrest. I suppose we need LEFT and RIGHT Denali Trim door panels plus the Cooled seats w/o memory and the PWR folded mirrors w/signals.

These my changes, I like SLE dash more than Denali dash, I don't use Factory NAV, so SLE cd player radio is fine. Rear view camera will work via inside rear view mirror.

Any suggestion or information about what i'm dealing with or if something forgotten to complete the Denali interior look?

Thanks

Omar

Small notice since we are dealing with a regular cab how we solve the driver door panel containing 4 window switches, also how to flash a regular cab at the end.

I know some have done this installment before but none of them had it in regular cab!

you will be able to put the correct handles and door panels on. You only issue is the driver switch will all have rear window controls since there in not an extended cab or reg cab that comes with the door panel. It should be a big deal and you can wire them to actuate an tonue cover or hell even front and rear air ride.

I would suggest looking for a totaled denali to pull parts from. you will save money in the long run and you could just transfer the BCM PCM over with out programing and score a 6.2 awd system.

You mean having Driver door panel from extended cab LTZ or Denali trim will solve this only issue

you will have to replace the dash to fit the panels, but the handle will bolt on and the pannels will fit.

It is qute collecting parts from a model to another. Hard project though. But none did it before hopefully the sierra see the light soon.

The LT dash is better than Denali dash in my opinion. Is there anyway around to make it work? Both PWR folded mirrors and cooled seats.

it is not bad, I use to do it all the time on the GMT 800 when I use to rebuild total losses. We would build mix masters all the time. you wanted an escalade with a v6 we'd build it for you lol. It all plugs right up, you just need a good programer if you don't transfer BCM. The BCM is what holds you "build"

Its hard to get one of these Denalis since i'm living in Saudi Arabia.

They are the same dash with different trim pieces if the LT was a CC

Okay, im not transferring the BCM of Denali to Regular cab 1500. Do I really need a good programmer? We don't have them here in Saudi!
