No Parking(emergency) brake

Guys,

First off I have a 2007 NBS Silverado with the rear drums. I replaced the rear pads today and after making my adjustment with the pads have no emergency brake pedal. Pedal goes down to the floor. How do I go about adjusting this?

Sounds to me you didn't adjust the rear brakes right. Did you adjust them out to where you just feel a little drag on the drums when you spin them? If you didn't then that's the problem or you didn't hook the e brake up right. You shouldn't have to adjust the e brake and if anything it should be quick to catch as soon as you push the e brake pedal down.

Yeah, rear brakes are adjusted right. Ebrake looked right when I buttoned everything up. Guess I am pulling the drums back off tomorrow.
