WHY YOU YELLING AT ME!!

Lol, why you want to delete VVT? It will make more powa down low,few things you would have to do I'm pretty sure. Remove cam phaser, change sprocket and tune it out..what year is ur truck? If it has AFM too ur better off to just find a new engine IMO...

Ya it's an l20 so it's a present engine, ditch it...you can still tune out the AFM but you still got the same crappy lifters and manifold. You could leave them in and hope that they don't fail but I wouldn't count on it...

like i said i want to use this engine in another car, it came out ouf a 2010 sierra with 5000 miles on it and i cant find anyone local that can even tune a vvt engine in my area, so i was going with an aftermarket ecm and they dont support vvt engines at this time, so i was wondering if the cam could be changed and remove all the vvt stuff, i can save all that stuff for my 2011 silverado

All you have to do is take the 54x reluctor ring off and put a 24x reluctor ring and change the timing cover to a LS2 and your good to go, I just bought a 2013 4.8 with 7000 miles on it and I'm going to put it into my 2000 Chevy Silverado
