cheapest place to get a playstation2?

i'm semi-interested in getting a ps2, even got someone willing to throw in 50 bucks for the dvd part when we go camping. so i was wondering if anyone happens to know of a place that has an insane deal going or something since i'm cheap...

I don't know about "Limited Time Offer" specials. But I'd recommend Best Buy. I haven't looked at PS2 or even know if Best Buy carries PS2 units. But Best Buy is where I do 99% of my electronic shopping.

i'm a little tired of the idiots at best buy, every time i go in there they say something completely stupid. plus last time i checked they wanted about 400 dollars for the console.. and thats not cool.

it looks like on their site that they have the system with GT3 for ?.. still a little much

I thought Sony regulated the price on it. As far as I know, the general price for one with no game and one controller starting off is 299.99. 50 bucks a game and 20 something for another controler I think. Check out Circuit City, Target, all those places but I think thier prices will be similiar.

A DVD when you go camping? How do you power it?

Back to the point, there's several online places that sell em pretty cheap, pick of a gaming magazine like EGM and lookin the back. I saw a used one for sale for ?. I should have boughten it and resold it.
