might get into a differnt truck...avalanche?

Ok so i as you all know i made a dumb move and got rid of possibly the only sunset orange 4wd truck ..and leather around ....well now i own a mazdaspeed 6 cool car just still miss my truck feel. i do have a use for a truck since all this time of owning this car i miss being able to put stuff in the bed of my truck. or just wont fit in my trunk. Im a little bit of a redneck always working on cars

 

so avalanche came about. its a crew, their cheap i think cuz so many of them have high millage and lots were produced , and is 4x4 .

 

its a 04 blue with 74,,k miles leather loaded. what you all think. I never had a avalanche but guys that have them seem to love them.

 

by doing this i also get rid of a rare car (mazdaspeed 6) only produced for 2 years its fun and stupid fast actually gets awesome millage (27mpgs ) on 15psi of boost stock!!! give me some ideas here guys/gals

i personally wouldnt want to downgrade to an old GMT800 like that.. not to mention the older avy's are pretty ugly IMO..

 

just dosent seem smart to get rid of a newer car with most likely less miles for an older truck with 74k

After decades of owning a truck I just switched to an Avalanche. I actually love it! It does everything I need it to do plus it will do some stuff that my shortbeds couldn't do... like haul a 4x8 sheet of plywood. At least on my Av the bed locks when I lock the doors so I basically have a "huge" trunk to put things in, plus if I need to carry something tall I just pop off 1,2 or all 3 hard covers.

when I bought my crew cab, I did some research on the AV. Its msrp was lower than a comp truck. Found that some AVs have water leak issues. The bed drains, back window seals/mid-gate and the rubber seals on the covers can cause water issues in the bed and cab. If parked out a lot may be a problem. Newer ones are better but an old one may have such issues.
