Recon LED 3rd Brake Light

I have a '12 Sierra and just picked up a smoked Recon 3rd brake light. When I went to put it on the screw hold housings on the light do not seem to have enough downward angle to allow the light to fit in properly and the seal seems like crap. Anyone else have this issue?? It is the right light as well so thats not the problem.

Well my experience is on my 04, but mine seals fine and fits. I have never had a leak through it

I have the same issue, I have had mine for over a year now and there is always condensation inside, pretty annoying...

When I installed mine I laid down a bead of clear silicone all the way around the gasket and also in the screw holes. No issues yet.
