wont come out of awd

Had my transmission rebuilt 07 Z71 but not transfer case it back together and will not come out of AWD and engine light stays on. What causes this? Thank you

its awd,how can it come out ?,do u have a switch ?,if you have a switch ,its not AWD,,,

 

get it scanned ,you dont know what its on for

Geg underneath thr truck and unplug all the wiring to the TC blow the connectors our with keyboard cleaner and plug them back in.

 

This was an extremely rare situation, but it happened to mee so it might have also happened to you.
