A/C cooling poor after driving 45 min or so, drain clogged?

I have a 2010 Silverado Texas Edition. A/C has been great til last week. After driving for a while I noticed the vent air was not as cool and felt more humid. If it sits for awhile (30 min) after that the A/C is fine again until I been driving for awhile again. Seems like I have quite a bit of A/C evap water on the ground while it has been been sitting. Maybe the drain is getting plugged and the evap is getting full so cooling is poor til it sits and drains? How do I get the drain cleared to see if that is the issue? No, there's no water on the floor of the passenger side.

Sounds like your evap coil is freezing up causing the poor air flow. After sitting a while its defrosting which would cause the large puddle of water. You may be low on refrigerant.

That's what I was thinking.

Thanks for the repy. Turns out you were very close. Early dealer idea was also low refridgerant. After troubleshooting in their shop it turns our the evap coil and piping was freezing, but it was due to faulty temp sensor that triggers the compressor. The sensor was stuck. It thought the temp was 188 degrees so it ran the compressor all the time until everything froze up. Got it fixed and we're running fine.
