Possible issue with the rear axles or bearings?

Well, Im almost done with my lift when I ran across a pretty extreme problem. I was inserting my axles into the housing and on the last bump on the axle where the bearing rides, it got really hard to push in. I know on my last rearend teardown they werent that hard. But I also have a completely rebuilt housing so everything is new except for a few things, but all bearings and seals and all that good stuff are new. So Im wondering if they are really tight because its a new bearing and new axle, or if the axles are just too big to the bearing. It is on both sides, and the bearings came with the axles, so it could also just be because they are cheap chinese bearings.

I can hammer the axles in, but I cant pull them back out after inserting the C clips. I wanna get this thing to the alignment shop today!

Get a micrometer and measure the bearings and shafts. Someone else had this problem recently and the issue was the bearings were the wrong size.

Ditto for sure! I have no idea why anyone would go through the trouble to do all that work and use Chinese bearings. I mean, good Timken bearings don't cost all that much lol!

I had a hard time just finding replacement bearings period. The guy at carquest told me they were timkens and then I got home and read the side of the bearing and it said they were Koyo's. Said they were made in the USA so I figured they should be of quality. Got it together and almost ready for the alignment shop. Gotta get the truck leveled first
