H2 SUT

Alright, so I already have some issues with the H2 SUT they are coming out with.  Not only is the "truck" part of it never going to be used, it is primarilly going to be driven around by gold-digging soccer moms and company execs that think a hummer is what Clinton got from Lewinsky.  Maybe it's just me.  What does everyone else think about it?  By the way, have you ever seen an H2 used for actual off-roading (not the show models with the lifts either)?

No one seems to get the fact that it sits on a Tahoe frame!!!!

:smash:

Not true!

The H2 uses a unique frame that is derived from the full size truck 2500 and the GM mid-size ute. (truck front, ute back).

The suspension pieces are all unique to the H2 providing an off-roading ability far superior to the Tahoe.

(GM-Trucks.com is currently driving an H2, so we know)

???  Ya know, I always wonder why some people have issues with others personal tastes. Why would anyone care if an H2 was only driven to the soccer games?

This is America, and if you can afford it, drive a dang Ford Supercruiser to the local Walmart if you want.

My truck doesn't go off road very often. It also doesn't haul 6000lbs of trailer, but it can.

I drive it to work and back every day on a paved, four lane road and enjoy every bit of my 12 mpg. :thumb:

But that's just me...

Yea, but I don't want that dumbass soccer mom cutting me off on the highway because she doesn't know how to drive an SUV...

Exactly.  It's not as bad in Boulder but when I was in Phoenix, the #### soccer moms were all over the place.  I don't really care what they spend their money on but I think it is incredibly stupid that they buy wheels for $1000 a piece and put some low profile tires on them when they are 4x4.

And I understand the off-roading thing and towing thing.  I've been offroading quite a bit but I could've saved some money and gotten a 4x4 Blazer, but there has been those few times where my truck has been the one to "save the day" because it could tow more than the others.  Also, why put a tow hitch on a burb or H2 when the people who own it don't even own anything to tow or are never planning to own anything to tow.

Ok, I need to cool down here..... where's the beer?  Sorry about the longer rant and yes, I have issues.  :smash:

Every time I start to get irritated at the yuppies driving all of these 4x4's I remember this:

For every one that they buy it puts another one out on the used car market...and it will be one that is in pristine condition because it will have never been off road.

Just think of the deals we will be able to get in 10 years on mint H2's, Suburbans, Tahoes, etc for us to make into hunting trucks or off-road play toys!! :smash:

With all the camping I do and the lack of roads to get to where I camp that thing would get well used by me. Granted it wouldn't be pretty for long but it would well used.

Could always take it out in the middle of the rice field too for some fun in the mud heheheheheh. :smash:

I got a little bored over the weekend and decided to see what I could do to a Hummer in PhotoDeluxe...the Hummer design proved to be harder to work with than I thought it would be, but I finally was able to make the one above...
