94 sierra problems

Ive been having some problems with my dads 94 gmc sierra. When youre going from a stop or speeding up the rpms will drop and the engine will make a thumping sound like its not wanting to take the throttle

Where would it be located?

Should be mounted along inside of frame below drivers side door. Fuel filter will be about 2" in diameter x 4" long.

Mine did that and it was the fuel filter

Ok i put some fuel injector cleaner in it and that fixed it but im gonna be doing little mods to it along the way. If i get new 3 inch bl brakets will it fix the gap between the bumper?
