How is the NAV system on the 2014 Sierra?

My biggest issue with it: no way to save your current location as a favorite or POI. You can only save a specific address. Not very helpful when you're out in the country.

THat is my problem as well, it functions fine, it has cool graphics, it works fast enough, BUT you can't store POI's as you enter them like you can on a $50 garmin. Only way it works is if you save an address under a contact in your smart phone. 1 saving grace is that it must have some kind of cache memory base where you start entering "1" for "124 main st. somewhere, USA" and it'll automatically start autotyping the balance for you in most cases, but it is a major flaw in my opinion. Major.

How can the system be updated periodically? I assume it doesn't use a disk since the Enclave I just bought my wife doesn't.

Hey everybody,

It's great to hear that a lot of you are enjoying your Navigation systems. We love to hear feedback both good and bad, so we can continue improving our products. If anybody would like me to formally document their suggestions you can PM me your full name and contact information, VIN, current mileage and preferred dealership. We're also here if you may have any questions regarding your Navigation systems as well.

Sincerely,

Jonathan A.
