After-marketthrottle body

Has anyone check the 80mm High-Flow Replacement Throttle Body. for 5.3? Anyone have any experience with replacing the stock throttle body? thanks

I have'nt changed one to aftermarket but they are easy to replace.

The gains aren't worth the bucks shelled out for the BBK which I think is the only one that made. I swapped out a ported and polished stock one for the regular stock one. I did notice a better throttle response and it seemed to breathe a little better. I think I paid about 125+ core for mine about a year ago and I don't think the people that did mine are doing them anymore. If you look around on some ls1 boards I've seen them forsale there. The 99+ 5.3 engines have the same t-body as the ls1 engines minus the vette.

i did alot of reaserach on them when i was in the market for one, my conclusion was def. not enough gains for the money. I think it is supposedly only good for 8hp

When you buy a performance throttle body you usually get the most gains out of it when you upgrade your mass air sensor and have a intake exhaust already.
