15K for a complete remodel is some efficient spending, good work!

Thanks! It wasn't easy but when you do all your own work prices are a lot lower. Plus a 10% military discount at Home Depot and Lowe's helped. Wish I could post before/after photos but I'm at my work CPU.

Although I might be late to the game, here are a few things I have found out to work well with any build..

 

1. High ceiling in the garage. 12-13 ft works well for a lift. Also high track garage door rails from the get go..

2. Separate electrical panels for each floor. Saves a ton of wiring and makes any add ons a little easier..

3. Cat 6 to all the eaves on each corner of the house for future security cameras....terminated in one place..

4. Cat 6 and 120v in higher spots of a central room, possibly hiden by kitchen cabinets or home entertainment centers for a WIFI routher/access point...same in the garage

5. Sub panel in the garage for toys...

6. 120 and 230 ran up to the corner of the garage high up for future heat...

7. Washer/dryer hookup in garage...Old washers and dryers never die and end up washing dirty stuff from garage...

 

Just my .02 that's worked well for me and others...
