For more years than I care to remember, I've had 4 speeds, 5 speeds, 3 speeds on the tree, now I want to put it in gear and go. You young guy's can shift.

I can't belive that so far i'm the only one to vote manual!!

I do admit, i have a slushbox on my truck, but i would never order a manual car!

I couldn't imagine drive the Z28, or vette with an auto, it would feel like i was cheating!

If I had a "classic" or a sports car I'd want a manual. But my knees aren't what they used to be and for an everyday driver I'd want an Auto. I learned to drive on a standard and owned one for at least ten years before I had to switch over.

I kinda like shifting, until i get in alot of traffic. So I guess I have to go with auto.

Manual all the way baby! Especially with a diesel, might consider an auto with a gasser, but no way in heck with a diesel....

I'm with Madfish and Zane on this one too! My brother has a manual in his '99. It's fun to drive around a little, but I hate the lenght of the shifter and clutch travel. Any car though, gimme a 5 or 6 speed!!!
