lights occasionally dim when breaking

anyone seen this issue or got an idea on what to look for?
2001 2500HD CC 8.1L 4X4
when coming to a stop, occasionally the headlights and interior lights dim for just a second. the volt meter on the dash stays just above 14v when the engine is idle and on the throttle. when the lights dim I noticed the volt meter drops to 14v or just under 14v. no error messages, no codes, battery and alternator test good, replaced battery about 3mo ago. I really don't recall if this started happening before the battery change or not. I have checked elec connections in several places to make sure they are clean and tight.
any ideas?

My '02, '07 and current truck all did/do this. Read why somewhere but don't remember. I believe that it also mentioned tow haul mode pushing the amperage more steadily for accesories and trailer lights and that lessening the effect. Don't think you have an issue. That or both of us do.

My 2010 does when stabillitrac kicks in. Wifes toyota van also does this when her stability control kicks in
