Replacement battery

What brand do you all recommend for a new battery? I need something good for cold weather since we live in ND.

Had good luck with duralast in the wife's ride. Consumer Reports best buy when I was shopping for it a couple of years ago. Any warranty left on yours? Not sure on the factory battery warranty...

My battery is fine in my truck im shopping for the wifes 11 equinox. Its getting weak and the last thing I need is to have her stranded somwhere with a dead battery. So far what im finding on consumers reports they point to the die hards .

I would avoid anything at Wally World, you're getting what you pay for. For a couple years on the farm we tried them and put them in things ranging from tractors to trucks, and although they did work and start it, they would fail pretty much dead on the month that the pro-rated warranty expired, normally these were 3 year warranty batteries. Got smart and switched to Interstate batteries and never looked back, 5 year warranty batteries routinely lasted 8+, in fact the battery I had to replace in my 1990 chevy pickup last year had a made on date of 2002.

Now my first choice is Interstate, 2nd would be the NAPA house brand. Haven't tried any of the newer gel cell types yet, Optima seems to be a well reviewed brand in those but they're not cheap

Well after all the research I did and the advice I got here, I went with the Die Hard Gold AMG battery. Seems like it would be the best for me. Heck even got 15% Military discount on it. Thanks For all the help!
