If it's 1 is it still all 4?

I seem to have a "groaning" noise that has developed when I turn the wheel to the right like on a slow turn or pulling into a spot. It almost sounds as if a ball joint is going out. I don't here it going over bumps/humps which I found to be odd.

I was always under the impression if 1 ball joint is shot I should replace them all. Is this still true or do what needs to be done?

Edit - trucks an 07 crew cab z71 4x4 105k - weather has been brutally cold for weeks - I also just washed it in a garage 2 days ago and it's been outside since between low single digits and mid teens for temp.

jack up the left front tire and spin it by hand and listen for a grinding noise. Also put one hand on top of the tire and one on the bottom and kinda rock the tire checking for slack. Sounds like a hub bearing to me.

Did this a little while ago no noise spinning and wheel was tight. I replaced both bearings 2 years ago give or take.
