2008 Chev 2500 HD fit 2004 Yukon Rim?

Hi I'm wondering if the wheels off a 2004 GMC Yukon (LT285/75/17) will fit my 2008 2500HD (265/70/17).

 

The tire size above are mounted on stock GM rims, will the rims fit on my truck?

I understand there may be slight tire rub in the front fender which I can fix by tying the rear portion of the front inner fender back.

Which rims are on your 2500? Regardless, you can't fit 285's on a stock height 2500. You'll have to max the keys out or get a leveling kit

They are stock 17 inch rims.

Tire size 265/70/17

Rims or tires? Is the Yukon a 2500? Otherwise it's 8 lug vs 6, and it ain't gonna happen.

OP are you asking if the yukon tires will fit on the 2500 rims ? Or will the yukon rims fit on the 2500?

 

As stated above, yukon has a completely different bolt pattern

If I remember correctly there was a Yukon XL 2500 in 2004 so there is a chance the wheels will bolt up but there won't be TPMS sensors in them. If they are 285/70/17's then you'll have to crank your torsion bars to get them to fit your truck.

 

The details you are giving are very vague, please clarify for us what you are trying to accomplish here.

As it turns out the rims come off a 2004 sierra 1500 z71. The guy who is selling them had the tires(285/75/17) and rims(from the '04 sierra) on a 2004 yukon (then the tranny went).

The tires mounted on the 2004 gmc sierra rims are 285/75/17.

I'm wondering if these rims will bolt onto my 2008 2500HD, additionally if the answer to the first part of this question is yes, will the 285/75/17 tires pose a problem?
My truck is stock and currently on 265/70/17 tires on the stock rims.

No those wheels will not bolt on ypur truck

As stated above the rims from the Sierra (now on the Yukon) are 6 lug.
