2001 Silverado 1500 Seat belt issues

I have a 2001 silverado 1500 and when I buckle the drivers side seat belt in the seat belt light does not go off. If I push in hard and hold the bulkle in the light will go off. Therefore I am pretty sure it is the female end. I have tried to clean out and that did not work. I have looked for the replacement lower belt unit that bolts to the seat but have been striking out. Anybody have any other ideas?
