Parking brake release cable in '01 Sierra 1500

Is there any place in town, without having to order online, to buy this little cable for less than $50?

 

I see it online for around $25 with the handle, but there would still be shipping.

 

I want to have it working tomorrow for a vehicle inspection in Texas. I replaced the back right cable to the back wheel and it only cost $27, and was 8 foot long and a lot more complicated.

 

I really only need the cable. It's so flat here in west Texas that I will never use the parking brake after the inspection, likely.

Not like this is a new truck. 285,000 miles plus, and runs great, but I don't need $50 plastic handles with a 12-14" bicycle cable... dang.

I wish AZ had more stringent vehicle inspections, it would probably make me fix my parking brake as well. lol

I checked Advance Auto last night and again just now and it's $48.99 as well. They have a lock on the price here it seems. Lots of pick ups around here, I guess is the reason. May have to bite the bullet.

 

Well, Napa is $41.99. Gonna check the local AC/Delco parts next
