Onstar Dropped Call That You Can't Hang Up On

Everytime I have a dropped call, it tells me I have a dropped call and I can redial or cancel. However pushing the hang up button on the steering wheel or pushing the cancel button on my dash touch screen it does not cancel or hangup. So since you cannot cancel is connects you to an Onstar Advisor.

 

Onstar and GM both are saying it's the other ones responsibility. Onstar connected me directly to GM support. In fact the GM representative was quite rude to me about it and told me I had a misconception about GM. I told him Obviously I do have a misconception of GM. I thought he would want to know that since both my silverado and Onstar were GM companies and they had a problem they might want to know about it and fix it. He told me to drive my truck to a dealership. How would I get it to drop a call so they could see what happens?

 

I transferred my unlimited calling plan from my Avalanche to my Silverado so I use Onstar calling quite often so not being able to hang up after drop call is quite annoying. What I have figured out is you can say cancel and it will hang up or if you hit the talk button instead of the hang up button it will hang up. Whoda thunk it, pushing talk hangs up on it. LOL
