95 Silverado Radiator

Recommended Posts

My brother needs a radiator. He has codes KNP and KC4. It is a regular cab C1500 Silverado with the L05 350 and M30 4L60E. Is there something I need to look for? I see 28" and 34" radiators on Rock Auto. How do I know which is correct. I do not have the truck close to where I can go out and measure

My 95 rcsb has a 41". I have the 350 with the 4l60E

I'll remeasure in the morning.... it's pouring rain rign now.

The 41 is probably overall. The core sizes I have found are 28 and 34. My brother thinks it is a 34 but he is 18 and just got the truck. I just know I have to get him a new one

On Rock Auto they list two Spectra Premium(which we sell where I work)radiators:p/n CU1693 & CU624(this being heavy duty cooling),both have connections for A/T & engine oil cooler.

We cater to repair shops & Dealerships, but, also sell to the public.Call our Bakersfield warehouse, they may be able to help you....

Outer is 41 x 18

Inner is 34 x 18 ish.. it's still raining so it was a little rough getting a tape down the front of my rig.

I have a universal design and had to plug a couple extra holes on the passenger side. Mine also has the 2 trans lines that connect, and I have an external smaller radiator.

Total

2 main water lines

2 metal trans lines on the pass side

Ok. Thanks. 90% of my knowledge is on the 99-07. Mine came with a 28" and I put a 34" in. I was thinking the same for thw 95

I asked at work...

These are Spectra radiators:

Normal Duty:34x17-1/4 x 1-1/4 p/n CU1693

HD:34-1/16 x 17-1/4 x 2-3/16 p/n CU624

Both have engine oil coolers & the HD is about 1'' thicker. The HD is $30-$40 more than the Normal Duty.
