Headlight on/off question

This was one thing I put in a review way back in the early 90's or so, lights not being able to turn off. Back then you had to set the parking break to get them off, as I recall. I like the current 'off' position here in the States.

 

There are some situations, out hunting for example, when I may be in the truck with engine on but want the lights off. I really want & like the option of easily turning off the lights.

Yep, I pulled the fuse for the DRL on my '97 for hunting purposes. I like the new setup better too, lights come on auto for safety, but you can shut them off with a twist of a switch for stealth.
