Hey.. Being on the hot side lately mostly everyone has there A/C cranked.. But there are a few who prefer the breeze with the window open..

What does everyone here prefer?? A/C or Open Window

I rarely use my A/C.. I m one of the people who will have the window open when ever i m driving.. *kinda helps the gas MPG :biggrin:*

I like going with the widows down as long as it isn't too hot.

Sometimes when it's hot I still go without the AC as long as I'm not stuck in traffic.As long as there is a breeze,I'm ok.

Only have run AC twice maybe 5 mins each time in a yr.

DARNIT tomorrow my mom is driving my truck that means the air will be run.  POOR TRUCK

its almost 100 here and ill drive home with the windows down

It never gets over 85 here, and with the tint and window visors, I usually drive around with the windows cracked and the vent on for a breeze.  I only turn on the A/C if the truck has been sitting in the sun for awhile, but once it cools off, the A/C goes off.  And I leave the ext cab window on my side open too.

I'd utilize the AC if I had it, But I'd have my window down on occaision.

But it depends on if I get a truck that's AC equipped.

Well slap my butt and call me sissy.....I hate driving around with the windows down.  When I lived in Tampa I dont think I had the air off once in 4 years.

I like the windows down.  I like the 2/100 air.  I only use my air if I  am going some where that I don't want a back full of sweat.  Or if the wife is with me.

Windows down below 45 mph and or below 80 degrees.  If it's warmer than that, or I'm driving faster than 45, I'm wind em up and use the A/C as necessary

I'm mostly an air guy if I have the family with me because if the windows are down I can't carry on a conversation very well because I can't hear anyone (that may not be a bad thing I guess).

At home though the air is on all the time.  I set it at 76* and leave it.  I hate sitting in front of the TV or computer when it's hot in the house.  Plus I've been married for 13 years and I think we're over the sticking to each other in bed all night too...

LOL  Same here and boy do I know what you mean!

I remember a few years ago I was having a conversation with this guy I know and he just bought himself a small Toyota pickup truck.  I asked him if it had A/C and he replied "Naw, how often do you really need it?"

In reply to that I asked him "How often did you wish you had A/C?"

Anything he buys now has A/C.

I'm a A/C man.  Don't care for the wind noise with the windows down.  I like to keep the windows up to keep the dust and pollen out.  I'm in construction and it gets hot building so the ride home in the cool sure feels nice!  Can't hear the radio with the windows down while cruising down the road.  Now around town, if it ain't too hot, sure I'll have the windows down.

I also like to keep my windows up so I don't have to listen to other people's tunes! BOOM BOP BOP BOOM

I use A/C in this heat... I like the windows down at times but the wind noise in my dad's 98 1500 is bad... the noise wasn't nearly as bad in my 89 and that's good because that one didn't have air... I have always wondered why there is so much noise on the 98... the HD will have air so I will use it if the noise is bad

I'm with Bill89.  Windows down unless I can't afford to let them see me sweat, or wifey is with me.

I'll drive with the windows down all the time and it gets pretty hot down here in new orleans

Only thing bad about opening the window is once your done you have a lot of dirt and crap all over your interior..  Everyone who has a dark colour dash will agree because you see everything!!!  I do like cranking the A/C when my truck has been sitting for hours at a time.. Just to get rid of that heavy hot air in the cab.. Then its window down with the tunes cranked :biggrin:
