Factory Fog Light Install

Anybody ever install factory fog lights in a truck that didn't come with them from the factory?  I pulled the cargo lamp switch out.  It uses 3 wires.  The new switch that has the fog light switch has 5 wires.  The harness on the dash has 5 wires.  So, I would think that the wiring in the truck is set up to install them.  But, I can't find any harnesses or empty plugs under the front bumper to plug them in.  Is there a wiring harness I can buy that maybe runs to the fuse panel or something?  If all else fails, I'll just end up running my own wiring from the switch via a relay.  But, I would really like to make it all stock if possible.  Oh, these are for my 99 Silverado in signature.

I have a new set of wires and a button.  We can work out a price.  I bought my truck used and it did not come with fog lights but it had the button and the wire installed already.

Thanks,

Also, when you go to have the computer updated to "find" the fog lights, make sure you test the remote door lock because mine failed towork after the fog lights were added.

I have the button and the lights.  I put the button in last night just to verify that the cargo light still works (it does).  I just need wiring to attatch the lights to the truck.  From what I'm gathering, I can get this wiring, hook up the lights, and then take it to the dealer to update the computer to recognize the lights - correct?  Anyone have a part # for the wiring I'll need?  I just had my computer updated 3 weeks ago for $35 - oh well!

I had gm foglights installed.  I bought the kit from a local GM dealer they came with everything needed to do the install.  This included switch, wireing harness & lights with all the hardware required.  The only thing needed as pointed out by Larry E was to have the ecm flashed and the dealer had to do it twice because as pipermaru9 pointed out my remote door opener did not work.

Go under the front bumper of your truck and look at the plastic covering the wiring. You'll find a plug on each side clipped into a plastic retaining clip.If its wired at the switch its definitely wired down to the lights.Gm installs the same harness.

Well, I looked under the front bumper this weekend.  Definately no place to plug a harness into the existing harness.  I even looked at an 2000 that has the fog lights to see exactly where the harness plugs in.  Maybe 99's used 2 different harnesses depending on the options?  Anyway.  I think I may just wire them up with a relay like you would a set of aftermarket lights.  The only trick is getting them to work with the factory switch.
